Water Distribution System Improvements, Contract A

This USDA funded project provided for upsized and extended water distribution lines and a new treated water supply transmission line connected to a new end-of-line standpipe to resolve system pressure deficiencies and meet supply requirements. Construction included installation of approximately 59,770 L.F. of 3" and 8" distribution lines and 8" water supply transmission line. Other features included a supply meter, air release valves, flush valves, solenoid valve, pressure maintenance valve, sectionalizing valves, pig launch and recovery vaults, creek and road bores, line looping, system connections, electrical, location tape, erosion and sedimentation controls, testing, trench safety, fencing, surface replacement, and site work.
