Comprehensive Development Plan
Thonhoff Consulting Engineers conducted a Water System Study and Plan and a Wastewater System Study and Plan for the City of Karnes City, Texas. These studies were part of a Comprehensive Development Plan funded by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. Both reports presented an inventory of the existing system, an analysis of the unit process rated capacity, costs of service, and projections for future use, consumption, and capacity. The reports provided capital improvement plans for water and wastewater and established priorities, estimated costs, and sources of funding. In addition, the water and wastewater maps for the City of Karnes City were updated.
