Utility Extension to Serve the CCA Taylor Correction Facility
This project consisted of 3,078 L.F. of 12-inch-diameter PVC C-900 piping. The 12-inch piping replaced a deteriorated 8-inch cast iron water pipe along West Oak Street in Taylor, Texas, and was extended to serve new commercial development. The new 12-inch line connected to an existing 12-inch line which connected to an existing 12-inch pipe bored beneath a railroad yard the previous year and provided a new looped connection to improve fire flows and water distribution to the southwestern part of the city.
Services Provided: Preliminary Engineering, Final Design Phase Services, TCEQ Submittal, Force Account Services, and Construction Phase Services.
